To get a realistic result, I took the bags apart into cutouts, reassembled them in Marvelous Designer with the actual folds and fabric behavior. Then minor corrections and UV in Maya, texturing in 3D Coat, and rendering in Keyshot. In addition, I assembled scenes for Photoshop in which the client can substitute textures himself, to get an unlimited number of illustrations with other patterns.
