Foliage - Mental Ray Render Test

Here are a few 3D renders done using 3DS Max and Mental Ray. I was trying to get realistic translucency effects with the arch and design shader.

  • Well i know vray and arion... But I keep on returning back to mental ray. Its my weapon of choice for maya. And renders like yours makes me proud that I sticked to it.

  • Thanks Saul. I grew up with MR so it's my favorite engine. I just wish it was more popular with the ArchVIZ guys. Almost every model on turbosquid is textured with Vray materials.
