When In Rome

A project for my Simulation and Development undergrad course. This is a simple resource collecting game that has a c++ background AI implantation. The AI utilizes a state machine architecture that is interfaced to either a guard or any other AI. They have their main activity and then their riot behaviors, plus any specific behavior. The objective of the game is to balance gathering resources with happiness. If ultimately successful, the emperor can build an aqueduct from the dam to his palace. If the player has a riot with not enough guards, the villagers will tear down the dam at a rate proportional to the amount of citizens in the empire. The endgame has a simple animation where the empire is swallowed up by the rising water. All mesh assets and textures were made by me except for the character figures.
