Tattoo machine research - analysis although it has the most disadvantages, the oldest and least sophisticated machine is the most commonly used in mainstream tattooing. This is probably largely due to its familiarity to the industry, not to its features or usability. In contrast, the machine which appears to provide the most advantages, both in technique and comfort is the least known. Many of the artists interviewed had heard of the pneumatic, but few had seen one or knew of someone who used one.
Tattoo machine research - [jet injection] has never been used for purposes other than insulin or inoculation injections. The main advantage of jet injection is the reduction of pain and skin trauma. The pain of a traditional tattoo can be compared to a continuous cat scratch, while the pain of jet injection has been compared to a rubber band snap. The reduction of skin trauma is important to the tattoo artist as the final look of the tattoo depends upon the skin healing quickly and properly.
