Shoe Design
Project Date: 2014, Junior Year
These sketches are a result of an exercise that focused on designing around a brand. Nike and Adidas are two big league swingers when it comes to shoe design. Their VBL (Visual Brand Language) is very direct and unique. These are sketches based on trying to capture that VBL and design around certain elements that can be taking away when looking at any of their products. This was an important exercise when looking to work at any corporation. Every company has different design elements that make them who they are. Learning how to see that and apply them to new designs is crucial.
