UNDER-EQUIPPED & OVER-EXPOSED - “256 British servicemen and women killed in Afghanistan. Coroners blame soldiers’ deaths on acute lack of equipment.” This was a personal project that I set out to achieve, using a topical subject gave the piece relevance and substance making it a talking point. It was entirely caught in camera, no special effects! Meaning my organization and directing skills were seriously tested. I found the location, purchased costumes and props and then shot it on a freezing winters day.

Shell Shocked. - This was an extra shot taken on the day of the under-equipped & over-exposed shoot. It portrays the face of a dismayed and stunned young soldier, again under-equipped.
