This image is my second attempt at rendering a vehicle in Photoshop. It is much improved from the first image I created and I am certainly moving in the right direction.
This image is mostly just a practice exercise in rendering, not necessarily design; although I do like the looks of the vehicle. The original sketch, which is quite rough, was brought into Photoshop where I did the entire rendering. This was my third attempt at rendering a vehicle in Photoshop and I am very pleased with my progress.
This is a re-work of the first image in this set. Details such as mirrors and door handles have been added. The highlights/reflections, tires and rims and other small details have also been improved.
R8 Appearance Package for 2009 A4 - For the most part, both of these images are actually photos. The front fascia however - less the headlamps and center grille - is all painted in Photoshop. On the rear, the R8 valance has been added, the tailpipes are moved into the bumper and the character line across the bumper has been pulled up around the corners to mimic the trunk line and the R8 rear features .
