Hidden Fun

This Design was entered in IKEA Young Designer Award 2014 and has made it into the Top 10 Finalists.

Toddlers aged 3-5 years old require a safe yet stimulating environment to play in. The “Hidden Fun” Table allows the user to get the best of both worlds by combining play and work into a single furniture. Thus learning and
allowing space for imagination at the same time.

WHAT PROBLEMS DO THE “HIDDEN FUN” TABLE SOLVE?
1. Lack of Space
Its a TABLE, PLAY AREA and STORAGE, all in one!
2. Minimizes Distraction
The toys and distractions can be kept in the storage
until it’s time to play and suggested seating area ensures
the play things are out of sight and mind.
3. Reward System
When they have completed their tasks, parents can pull
out the box and set up the play area, thus rewarding the children for their hard work. This incorporates a system which teaches the child prioritizing and other values.
