Part of an academic project that explored stopmotion animation through various media and finally deciding sand animation as the predominant narrative medium. The narrative deals with the abstract idea of 'i' (multiple interpretations) as a fluid element that is ever-transforming and elusive to the central character, a dreamer. The dreamer himself transforms from a puppet to a child in the quest for i. 'i' stands for many meanings: imagination, innocence, intelligence, identity etc. it epitomises an elusive character that the mind wishes to control but in vain.
This project has been guided by Prof. Sudesh Balan, IDC, IIT Bombay.
