Nightmare Before Christmas : Spider House - Here is one of many "Nightmare Before Christmas" village pieces I designed for The Bradford Exchange. After we exhausted all of the buildings that were in the movie, they asked me to come up with "buildings that could've been in the movie". The Spider House was one of my ideas.
Nightmare Before Christmas : Coffin House - Another "Nightmare Before Christmas" village piece I designed for The Bradford Exchange. Working within the "Tim Burton" style for this line, I wanted to make a house from a giant coffin. The finished sculpt looked pretty darn close to my sketch.
Nightmare Before Christmas : Frankenstein House - Another "Nightmare Before Christmas" village piece I designed for The Bradford Exchange. For this one, I wanted a house that resembled the classic Frankenstein monster head. I was happy with the finished sculpt. Since these all light up from the inside, the eyes and mouth windows cast an eerie glow :)

For this one, I was thinking of a hand reaching up from a grave, so I drew my left in this pose and used it for reference. The finished sculpt looked pretty darn close to my sketch.

BRADFORD - Nightmare Before Christmas
Here are the designs I created for The Bradford Exchange - Nightmare Before Christmas Halloween Village product line. Most of the village pieces were based on actual buildings seen in the film. When we exhausted all of the buildings in the film, I was asked to create new designs in a similar style - "Buildings that could've been in the movie."
