NATURE & FORM: A classroom project at NID. The aim of this project was to learn form through nature, by studying a natural object of choice and to propose designs that are inspired by the unique aspects observed on that natural object. I picked ‘Euphorbia Lactea’, a poisonous cactus plant commonly found in Indian sub-continent.
The uniqueness of this special breed of cactus lies in its nodes where it forms a fractal of 3 at every node. Further the orientation of the branches are always twisted in opposite direction at every node.
