I found out this VERY rough concept sketch had been sent to and appeared in the Baltimore newspaper. Oh well.
Each table had a monitor so that instructions for projects could be controlled form the central desk.
I believe there were eight (?) tables in all.
We got the sink from an old "second chance" warehouse nearby.

I think the dad here might be missing the point of the activity.
This dad, however, gets it.

The Shed

We had an octagonal room in which we intended to set up a maker space. We were going to simply put in some benches and shelves, etc., and call it a day.

But then we got cute and decided to build a shed, The Shed, complete with a faux roof, walls, and floors.
