In a world where there is an abundance of mobile apps, how can we bridge the experience among them? And more importantly, how do we create value that the user will appreciate when connecting them to one another? In Yahoo, there are over a dozen apps that the user may not be aware of. Even if he has downloaded the popular Yahoo Weather or Yahoo Mail app, there wasn't a way for the user to easily go between them. "Yahoo Today" features snippets of information from the core Yahoo experiences, and makes itself available from within any app via an SDK. By knowing the user in one Yahoo app, we can apply personalized and relevant information whenever the user is in the Yahoo app family.
