JP Printer

The JP Printer is made up of key parts from a reclaimed hp deskjet 5150 Printer, and some original laser cut parts. The JP utilizes 2 DC motors to 1) feed paper, and 2) move the ink holder back and forth. A servo motor has been added to help dispense the ink on to the paper. Two Pipettes containing color ink are filled and placed in the ink holder in order for drops of ink to be released onto the paper. Inspiration came from Jackson Pollock’s (JP) famed art work of paint splatters over canvas.
