TOPSANNAH - Done Junior year of high school. It started with the marbled paper in the background that I made. I decided that I wanted to make it a picture. The swirling of the marbling reminded me of the clouds on Venus and Jupiter so I wanted to use it for a sky background.

MEDICINE CROW - Unfinished painting of Medicine Crow done junior year of high school. I also did a pencil sketch portrait of him. But my teacher absolutely loved it and asked me to let her keep it for future classes. I accepted graciously as I never saw her ask anyone for their work.

GRANDMOTHER - Painting of my grandma done junior year of high school. Her mother was part Comanche, and her father part Choctaw.

MOTHER & CHILD - Completed during my junior year in high school, there's more this than meets the eye. This Ink print was done from stamp carving I did of a skull and snake. I stamped in various shades to create the big picture of mother and child. Look closely and you'll see the skull. Of course we weren't told why we designed the stamp until after we did. At that time upon seeing the picture I had to recreate with a skull, I thought there would be no way I could do it. I shocked myself with this one
