Eco Protect - Freelance work for Art Van Furniture. I was commissioned to design boxes for their Eco-Friendly furniture cleaning products. I gave them three different styles to choose from. Along with designing the outside graphics I was also asked to re-think the actual construction of the box. I presented them with these three foam core mock ups. These made for a good presentation because they were to scale and I was able to put the actual bottles into each box.
Style 1 - In this concept I wanted to push the idea of eco-friendly by incorporating actual elements from the environment. I did this by making see through compartments to display the elements.

Style 2 - In style 2 the series of boxes would display the bottles as if they grew right from the dirt. The box itself is also designed to be the carrying case for the bottles. There would also be a clear plastic top fashioned to fit over the handle and connect to the bottom half of the box. This would make it possible for the boxes to be stacked on store shelves.
Style 3 - This series of boxes would have more of a jungle feel to them. Each bottle would be separated with bamboo sticks.

In 2007 I was asked by Bruce MacDonald (Art Director for Art Van at the time) to design and mock up box designs for Art Vans Eco Friendly Furniture Cleaning products. Upon graduation from the College for Creative Studies in 2010, I was brought onto the team as a full time graphic designer.
