Pirate Maidens - Localization of Game Event Assets and UI

[Aeria Games] One of my primary tasks for Pirate Maidens was to localize all graphically-embedded text for the game's events; new ones released every 2-3 weeks or so. This involved replacing all the original Japanese text with the translated/localized English while still matching the design and styling of the original. Often times this also required re-designing of the event logos and other visual assets while maintaining consistency to the event's theme. I'd also help the engineers troubleshoot and resolve bugs or issues that would occur in the game as a result of the new text/graphics - usually words being cut-off or awkward animations due to differences in text length between the Japanese and English. Many of the localization design guidelines were established by my predecessor in the position, so in order to stay consistent with what went before there wasn't a lot of lee-way for new takes on things (like some fonts, for example).
