Biloxi Casino

How can the relationship between the building and the surrounding landscape create a spatial and organizational design theme? How can the organizational qualities of the casino not only attract customers but also provide education about Biloxi’s continuing loss of biodiversity? These questions will serve as a basis to create spaces that can educate
the public, while having the ultimate goal of attracting customers to the casino.

The landscape, and habitat, of the site was dramatically changed due to development. Bringing back pieces of this landscape is one way of engaging the community. The landscape itself does not reside only on the exterior. The landscape is also used as a design theme, considering paths and elevations, that is continued on the interior that begins to blur the boundaries between natural landscape and constructed landscape.
