Trinity River Audubon Center, Dallas, Texas - This exhibit in the Trinity River Audubon Center, in Dallas, TX called for a scale model of downtown Dallas. I sculpted the pieces from 1/2" acrylic using mostly a table saw and a disc sander. The city street platform was made by tracing the streets in Adobe Illustrator from a satellite image and engraved them using a CNC mill.

Vectra Visual show room concept plan view: Relocating office space to the back of the show room. The space is designed to facilitate two design associates in a functional office and collaboration space. The 48"x96" windows that divide the office space from showroom space also serve as store front window mock-up space as well. The showroom space is comprised of mobile 12'x12'x10' "Market Vignettes" to replicate several of Vectra Visual's client base environments. These vignettes would have the actual flooring and shelving fixtures that a big box, home decor, or fashion retailer would have in the market place in an effort to showcase the client's product in a simulated real space.
The first concept for design office furniture is to utilize restored SteelCase "Tanker" desks accompanied by modern SteelCase side table storage devices. Also in the space is a pair of SteelCase Bouy seating units and a 48"x96" dry erase panel for quick sketching and collaboration on design ideas.
The 2nd concept for design office furniture incorprates SteelCase's "Bivi" work stations along a pair of SteelCase Bouy seating units and a 48"x96" dry erase panel for quick sketching and collaboration on design ideas.

The entrance to the hallway leading back to the customer service representative's area. The company logo is printed in the custom wall-covering, as are words of inspiration set vertically as pillars to illustrate these values as pillars of successful customer service. Role: Designer, Project Manager

The north wall of this hallway sees heavy traffic from Vectra Visual customer service representatives. The walls are treated with custom printed wall covering including words of inspiration to drive quality customer service. These words are set vertically on the returns of the wall construction and appear as pillars; much like quality customer service is a pillar of successful business. These words are made large and bold to keep these values fresh in their minds through out the day. Also on this wall is a collage of photographs of the work produced by Vectra Visual mounted 2nd surface to .25" acrylic and mounted to the wall in varying distances with aluminum stand-offs. Role: Designer, Project Manager
Toys R Us Fisher Price "Feature Shop" roll-out. Toys R Us provided Vectra with a section of shelf system on which to test fit graphics for mechanical structural integrity. Challenged with engineering three dimensional "lug-on's" while maintaining budget and simplicity of construction for average store associates to assemble with minimal factor of error.
