I need a change of Skin. - From a photo shoot i did about a year ago with Ripley Van Pierce of Death Rock Cafe here in Dallas Texas. she's begun offering up her collection of unused proofs as stock photos for editing/ retouching practice and i thought i'd give it a go.

Zamara: A Practice In Progress - Zamara, a local burlesque performer and model from Dallas Texas. photographed by Ripley Van Pierce of Deathrock cafe. this is a practice retouch piece i did to help get better at body recountouring and shiny textures. its not quite there yet, but i'm happy with the results thusfar.

STORM - So, this halloween, i went as storm. what began as my favorite version of storm (the mohawk from '83-ish) became more of the version of her drawn by Marc Silvestri circa '87-89-ish...because i found a fantastic wig. i then took the best foto from my shennanigans and made a pseudo-comic cover.
and it was good.
