Using several pictures of brownstones as reference, a street corner was created in Illustrator, preserving the gesture of a cut paper design. Type is incorporated directly into the scene.

Here is a design created for a program for children that teaches about both art and history. Having the feel of cut paper and primitive art, this design was produced using two spot colors on a dark green shirt.
