Kitchen Gadgets - Packaging for line of kitchen gadgets sold on clip-strip. Cards made of PVC for durability.
Soft Skin Peeler - The peeler handle hangs beneath the card, inviting the consumer to "get a grip". Attractive logo and graphics emphasize upscale quality at a glance.
Citrus Zester - One of several gadgets designed for west coast clip strip manufacturer. Items sold in west coast supermarkets.
Avocado Slicer - Another member of the gadget family. Especially inviting because of the texture captured by the die cut around the avocado image.
Citrus Reamer - One of many kitchen gadget cards designed to hang on clip-strip in grocery stores.
Winner, 2011 American Package Design Award, Graphic Design USA Magazine. Disposable Food Storage Containers - Colorful family of inexpensive food containers made designing a simple sleeve fun and easy. Photos of food matching the lid colors add shelf impact.
Open Stock Cookware - Cookware did not sell well when packaged as set. Pieces were re-packaged for individual sale. Solution included protective structural design (e-flute corrugated) coupled with attractive, bold, graphics.
Disposable Food Storage - Plastic food storage containers positioned as reusable and disposable. Clean, white background with bold, easy-to-read descriptions compliment the colorful food photography.
Drinking Straws - Straws are often used by children and in a party setting. I wanted the packaging to trigger a festive, youthful emotion in the consumer. Bright text colors are used to distinguish between the quantities and features of each type of straw while keeping the background consistent.
Barware - Designed to hang on retail store "clip-strip", this narrow card had to be eye-catching and upscale enough to stop the shopper while walking down the supermarket aisle.
Barware - Part of a family of barware designed to catch the consumer's eye while walking through supermarket aisles
Chef Elect Pastry Brushes - A line of kitchen gadget packaging implementing the ChefElect logo. Clean, bold banding at the top of the card coupled with the logo identifies the family of items to consumer.
ChefElect Spatula - One of many in a line of kitchen gadgets found within the ChefElect brand of products
Winner, 2011 American Package Design Award, Graphic Design USA Magazine. Serving Storage Containers - This family began as a winter holiday promotion for ShopRite stores (red and white version) and quickly grew to include the following autumn because sales were so brisk.
Autumn Serving Containers - The basic "skeleton" of this design lends itself to color changes and photo changes while maintaining the overall impact and family integrity established.
