Concepts have been prototyped and tested, and have now completed 2 years testing.
Tests were done daily shaving a facial beard in a typical warm shower environment.
Prototypes with daily use remained sharp as if new beyond the one year target.
Competitor disposable razors within this same cost target last typically 2 to 3 weeks of daily use, rapidly becoming dull.
