Emilio Escareno

This is an installation piece I did for a basic design class I took in college. It's a nod to Kazimir Malevich's "Black Square" and Suprematism.
The idea behind this piece was how all of our modern technologies leech onto us almost like sticking your hand into a tar pit. They're all like fly traps in that we all end up almost literally stuck to them (i.e. we can never put our phones, laptops, tablets, etc.. down)
