"Don't 'Hey, Baby' Me: How To Fight Street Harassment" was the first-ever mainstream media article about Street Harassment. I pitched and wrote it for Glamour in 1992; it made the cover and received a landslide of snail-mail from readers who were relieved to finally have a name for the demeaning abuse they had been enduring from men in public on a regular basis. The highly rated article has since been used as primary source material by lawyers, public policy analysts and psychologists studying gender roles.
