Eloise Smith-Foster

I studied the fringe group "Anime Fanatics" and used ethnographic research to ascertain their habits, rituals, ambitions, likes and dislikes. I used my intimate knowledge of what binds anime fans together and what 'makes them tick' to find design opportunities that would enrich their lives. I designed a graphic style calendar app. for their phones because they are youthful, sociable, busy and visual people.
