In this University project, whike studying abroad in Ireland. Myself and 4 others sought out a design solution for the Burren College of Arts. We designed for the library in the College with a Universal mind towards this being a product used in other locations as well. Though this specific one we went about designing also for upcycling old metal and pieces, so designing sustainably was at the forefront of the project. After going through intense rounds of iterations and ideation through foamcore models and sketching; we then moved into final model fabrication and went about not only designing but fabricating the Mag Display as well. We built upon skills in welding and had designed with the fabrication process at the forefront of the Mag Display. I believe that design must be beautiful, and sensible for production.
