Cactus Studios - Used a photo taken at Voelcker Park in North Central San Antonio on July 5th, opened in Photoshop, defined the pattern, set the background, and used a pattern overlay on the type.
Unusual stage - Created using Photoshop and a tutorial on patterns in Photoshop User Magazine. For this one, used various patterns found in the existing patterns palette with the pattern brush and incorporated another photo taken at Voelcker Park on July 5th.
Tossed-on-Table Rain Collage - Taken from a tutorial on creating a tossed-on-table collage in Photoshop User Magazine. This work and one other also utilized features in Adobe Bridge, including Camera Raw and Photomerge in Photoshop.
Tossed-On-Table: Voelcker Collage - Same as the collage created for the rain event, only used a pano taken at Voelcker Park in North Central San Antonio on July 5th (also known as the North Salado Creek Greenway).
Big Electric Lolcat Wantz te Cheezeburger! - Took inspiration from yet another tutorial in Photoshop User Magazine. The cat was photographed late last year, and after clearing out the background in Photoshop, I inverted the image and brought it into a photo taken of Alamo Quarry Market in June.
Quarry Market Interactive - Just something I did for fun, following a tutorial in Photoshop User Magazine on Layers. I took yet another photo I shot in June of the famous smokestacks at the Alamo Quarry Market (once home to Alamo Cement Co., hence the name), added the buttons and text, then created a pattern overlay from a photo I took of rocks outside my apartment, and added it to the buttons. I then sampled the gray from the rock pattern for the Quarry Market text.
