2 strands of 2/24 acrylic yarn.
MC: denim blue and black strands
CC: 2 black strands
Cut and sewn method with serger and pattern block that I drafted already.
Cut, serged, rehung on KM for rib neck. Rest of the garment started at rib and knitted up.
Gradation of mixed blue and black yarn to solid black yarn to create a feeling of seeing the transition from a clear blue sky to the dark sky at night. I added a simple hand manipulated lace to have pinholes of color for whoever is worn underneath to show through as "stars".
