THONET Chair S 81

Cantilever chair S 81 for the conference and meeting segment offers high sitting comfort and clear and reserved design
The chair typology of the tubular steel cantilever chair has been closely connected with Thonet since its invention by Mart Stam in the 1930s. A number of models that are especially suitable for the conference and meeting segment stem from this tradition. They all have in common the high sitting comfort, the clear reserved design and high quality. The chairs of program S 81 have an elegantly curved tubular steel frame with a comfortable seat shell: with regular or high backrest, with partial upholstery or fully upholstered. All models are also available in a stackable version.
With armrests. Base frames chrome-plated tubular steel. Armrests made of elastomeric plastic or nappa leather. Seat and backrest made of a single molded plywood shell with partial upholstery or fully upholstered and covered with leather or fabric.
