Relative Closeness, invitation front - The exhibit Relative Closeness displayed the work of several photographers. The task to create a cohesive set of collateral pieces was placed before me to be used for the event. This is the front of the invite that would have been the first of the collateral set to be mailed to potential exhibit goers.
Relative Closeness, invitation back - Clean in appearance, the back of this invite carries the colors and simple lines from the front of the invite and sets the tone for the two other collateral pieces created for this event.
Relative Closeness, mailer poster inside - Having utilized similar lines and colors from the first collateral set, this poster inside was created as a tri-fold to be mailed to potential attendants of Relative Closeness. The photos on both back and front are that of Sally Mann, the most well known of the photographers to display their work at this exhibit.
Relative Closeness, mailer poster outside - Clean in appearance and utilizing negative space, as in the back of the event's invite, this poster was created to be folded three times and mailed out. Sally Mann is the photographer responsible for the images displayed on this events collateral materials and arranged by yours truly.
Relative Closeness, brochure outside - This brochure was created for a photography exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Photography. This event was a great project to incorporate the work of other artists while creating my own pieces of art. The challenge was to fit all the type needed for the assignment, draw the viewer in to further their knowledge and maintain a coherent set of work that differed yet belonged together as a set.
Relative Closeness, brochure inside - A tri-fold brochure, this inside displays more of the artist work, necessary text, the theme colors from the event's other collateral pieces and incorporated the lines carried threw the entire sweep of work.
