This series of paintings are done in watercolor.
There is something special about a sunrise and a sunset. They remind me of the Bible scripture in Psalm 103:12,13 It says:
"As far off as the sunrise is from the sunset,
So far off from us he has put our transgressions.
As a father shows mercy to his sons,
Jehovah has shown mercy to those who fear him." (Jehovah is God's name- Psalm 83:18)

Yes, when God forgives us he puts our transgressions far away from us, as far as the sunrise is from the sunset.
The penalty for sin is death as it says at Romans 6:23: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift God gives is everlasting life by Christ Jesus our Lord." So to get forgiveness of our sins means we can have everlasting life! Jesus said when praying to his Father that getting to know himself and God means everlasting life.(John 17:3) We can accomplish this by studying the Bible.
