User-Centered Design - Improving Cirrhosis-Hepatic Encephalopathy Management Treatment in Edmonton
Improving the management of Hepatic Encephalopathy can be addressed through understanding the experience and the needs of the Hepatic Encephalopathy community through a User-Centered approach. A journey map depicting the patient experience of HE can provide the opportunity for physicians to standardize treatment according to best practices and promote positive patient outcomes by assisting patients to participate in treatment decision making, adhere to management protocols, and cope more effectively with their diagnosis.
