Modern Mala - In this project I made a "Modern Mala". I made a product in which the old use of an buddhist Mala is combined with the technolgies from Nowadays. I made a device with which you can control the computer, but which also displays your interest. through this personal the product becomes really personal and is a new way of using a "Mala"

Form explorations - Form explorations for the Modern Mala. what movements and feelings can you use? which feel fine in your had, just as a mala, but can also be used to control a laptop?
Form explorations - Form explorations for the Modern Mala. I choose for a chain which looks like a mala. The difference is that it is held in a socket, through which the experience becomes different. Now, you can turn the mala around or turn the beads. These interactions give also oppurtunities for contrallong.
Prototyping - In this pictures you see how we made the socket so that the wires also fit in, but aren't seen.

Technology - Our mala can be used as mouce for the computer. Therefore we also used the technology of a mouce. In this we we could plug it in the computer and use it as a mouse. The mala turns round thescroll wheel of the mouse. When you program the up and downward movement of the scroll wheel, you can let it control a self made program.
Prototyping - In this picture you see the building plan of the socket. you also see the holes in which the technology fits.
Business model - In this picture you see the business model for the Modern Mala project. You see the flow of money and values for the people involved. als the principle of cocreation is used, in this case between User A and User B.
