Glass Electric Guitar
This was my final Industrial Design project in University. We were tasked with designing a piece of furniture or a product made out of either glass or ceramics. I decided to design and build a glass electric guitar.
The neck was purchased pre-built with a blank headstock. All the slotting and attachments were milled by myself. Everything was planned digitally using Rhino and the glass was cut using a waterjet.
Two years and aging and she still plays great!
