Walking with Beasts: Operation Salvage - As lead programmer it was my responsibility to code the core engine of this children's strategy game, which was focused on a scrolling isometric engine designed using Macromedia Director Lingo. I had to integrate my code with two other programmers, and incorporate the artwork of over ten 2D and 3D graphics artists and animators.
Bill & Ben - Flowerpot Fun! - I coded the menu structure and five out of the six mini-games featured in this children's game, which included a painting application, a music game, a Bill & Ben TV clips section, and two more arcade-style games featuring Bill & Ben the Flowerpot Men - Catch A Nut and Fly With Pry.
Rotten Ralph's Big Night In! - For this title I was required to code the main menu structure, three Screen Savers, a TV clip browser, an art package, and an interactive quiz/arcade game show. The game show features three sub-games - a cycle race, an arcade shoot-em-up style slime game, and Sink or Swim, where the contestant has to guess which objects would float when dropped in water.
Chicken Run Fun Pack - My responsibilities for this game pack included an animated desktop music CD player, a desktop radio alarm clock, a Screen Saver featuring scenes from the film and a level editor for one of the arcade games included with the fun pack, used by the graphics artists to design the layout of the levels.
Colin Dunsmuir Photography - Colin Dunsmuir is a Glasgow based photographer, and has photographed the likes of Eddie Reader, Paul Weller and Astral in the past, amongst others. An interactive portfolio was developed on CD-ROM to send samples of his work to potential customers/clients, which proved extremely cost-effective when compared to the printing and postage costs involved in sending large copies of his photographs. In addition to the cost-cutting benefits, the CD-ROM proved to be very popular with potential clients, boosting interest in his work considerably.
