Allure, Look #6 - Part of my Graduate collection from SCAD. This photo was from the SCAD 2010 Fashion Show Lookbook, in the section "Fatal Beauty", which was styled by Kym Canter. The gown is a lavender boiled wool, hand-sewn to a padded fleshtone corset. Approx. size 6
In this collection, I hand-sewed menswear fabric drapes onto corsets I made, intending to show that the process of making a garment is equally as beautiful as the finished result.

This might be my favorite image of the dress (that I've seen so far). Sure the wind is messing it up, but I was told everyone at the shoot loved the gown, especially the model. In this picture, I can totally see it, and it makes me happier than anything.
Collection Brief - This is a VERY succinct Board that accompanied my dress in a display of Graduate work at SCAD's Fashion Building over the weekend of Graduation.
