The goal was to take the tools at hand, and see if I can use them in an unintended way which would allow me to have an easy yet powerful dialogue building system.
The dialogue system I ended up with was quite wonderful! It allowed me to accomplish so much fairly easily.
This here is a visual display of using the dialogue building with the AI behavior tree. Since I had utilized the behavior tree intended for AI decision making, it's actually quite effective for complex dialogue trees. (my screen recorder DID NOT like this version of unreal engine)

A prototype system for building dialogue trees and handling quests.

A portion of questing is handled by the plugin Logic Driver Lite. Dialogue on the other hand is handled with Unreal Engines AI behavior tree.
