The goal was to design a robust, universal 3D Printer extruder that was reliable and accuarate. Not much is on the market between cheap 3D Printer extruders and high end ones. I needed something that could allow a cheaper 3D printer to print with the quality of a $10k+ printer. This was the result and it performed perfectly.
