Project 1, Boxes- Before being painted & filled; These boxes were designed based on the word, "escape". In the chronological sequence, the cubes inside break free.
Project 1, Boxes- Edges of the boxes were made with split cardboard to expose the textured middle
Project 1, Boxes- Finished Form: Box 1 has the cubes squished inside, Box 2 shows them breaking free, and Box 3 shows them "escaping" to the beach. The boxes were designed to be dingy and cold, causing the viewer to feel like they want to escape it too.

Project 3, Finished Table-- For this assignment, I was to make a table for someone to eat paella on. The dish is typically served in a heavy iron skillet, so I wanted to make something that could support not only the weight, but also the style of the dish.
