Multidisciplinary Senior Design
Design and build an electro-mechanical test bench, utilizing the ME dynamometer, to test the Hot Wheelz powertrain system and check for safety, signal interference, and programming issues prior to putting it on the chassis. Roles include designing and building the mechanical structure and mounting platforms, which house the powertrain system, managing the budget, and making & tracking all purchases. 3D models and FEA analysis were done using Solidworks.
