Thermostat Test Fixture
Designed, built and wired an electromechanical fixture to test the tolerances and accuracy of a snap-disc thermostat. Operated by a LabVIEW program, the fixture was design in Solidworks, heat transfer analysis was performed in Star CCM simulation, and the final product included aluminum plating, flexible silicone heaters, thermocouples, DAQs, relays and power supplies all enclosed with T-slotted framing and acrylic Plexiglas. Project increased my knowledge of electrical systems sourcing components and seeing a project from beginning to end.
