Prototype knife and sword

These 2 pieces were developed in my model making class. The first peace is a ninja knife made from sculpey, plastic sheet, tinfoil tape and paint. It took me about 1 and a half classes to complete the knife. The second peace is a executioner sword made from wood, pvc pipe, Electrical tape, foam core, plastic sheets, and spray paint. the sword stood approximately 5.5 feet. The issue I had with it is the paint kept peeling form the wooden blade and the plastic sheets I used to cover the foam core from getting paint on it wouldn't stay glued. I will be making another version of this sword over the summer using EVA foam. The sword is definitely a learning experience project.
