The Beamers
The Beamers is a mini projector family designed to demonstrate SolidWorks skills while keeping industrial feasibility in mind. The assignment required the development of three models: a standard beamer, a version inspired by a style, object or animal, and a high-end variant. One of the models was designed in a streamlined style, reflecting smooth, aerodynamic aesthetics. A standard part was used as the base and modified using SolidWorks design tables. The internal components remained identical, with only mounting sizes adjusted per configuration. Components were arranged efficiently to reduce cost and ensure realistic, manufacturable results.
