Highchair for children designed considering a “Design for All” methodology, in which the target is expanded to the ones with different impairments. It’s regulable at different heights and it provides a correct posture everytime thanks to a studied angle. The chair is all made of wood of different colours, its back legs can close offering a reduced sharp profile, useful for stocking and to occupy less space when not used.
You can see here the profile the chair assumes, the special curve allows a correct posture at every height with a full regulability.
The first ideas were to provide a dynamic chair, that could be regulable in its height; here you can see different solutions and other profiles, it is also expressed the material issues and how the different pieces would combine to each others.
We built a working model with the original material, to prove its resistance and dimensions. You can see how the entire chair is closable into a sharp profile, assuming a reduced dimension when it's not used.
