Initial explorations were followed by studying the basic forms which are commonly used in the Jamawar shawls. Some compositions of the Jamawar motifs like flowering plants, swirling vines, spiraling leaf are rendered in a natural, graceful style that attempts to create a garden that can be worn.
To adorn the pallas and borders of the print the same thought process was utilized, for which very basic repeating flower pattern in a linear manner was formed.
The center motif and the borders were placed proportionately in order to form a single repeat. Depending upon the requirement the central jaal and the borders could to be used together or separately.
