I was involved in this project from early requirements gathering, attending workshops with requirements analysts and feeding in creative ideas and results from my own user research. I also worked closely with the development team who implemented the UI and with the graphical designers who were responsible for the overall look and feel of the application.

SonyEricsson - mobile UI designer

I initially worked for SonyEricsson on placement whilst completing my Research Masters dissertation 'Design and Evaluation of Presence awareness for mobile interface'.

I then worked as an employee within the usability department carrying out small research projects which resulted in changes being made to improve the user experience of various applications.

I then moved to the UI department where i worked as an interaction designer. I worked collaboratively with Systems Analysis, development, testers, usability and graphic designers to produce the optimal user experience on a number of SMART phone applications.

I was responsible for feeding into requirements, translating use cases into early user journey flows using Visio and then into detailed wireframes using Photoshop.

I was also often central point of essential communication between all of the disciplines I worked with.
