The Wave

Goal: To design a retail space convenient for CSUN college students to hang out, located in an open lot with no existing structure, in a shopping center in Northridge, CA.

Retail space is a unique and spacious design that includes a cafe, clothing store, small library, bar, and outdoor seating.

I incorporated a lot of warm colors and glass throughout the retail space. This helps embody the modern, mellow vibe throughout the store. One main focus was the warm climate of the location, which transitioned in my work to creating a lovely semi outdoor space. The design is ADA accessible.
