Jen + Kim Shoes is a collection of women's custom footwear designed and manufactured in California.

The inspiration for the brand has always been one of flexibility in components. Since Made in California is a brand mantra, we mainly work with materials and pieces that are sourced in Los Angeles. While this is sometimes limiting, the challenges it presents often turn into a new way to work through a design ... and often become something more beautiful than originally imagined.

The pieces have been described as exhibiting "Californian in Paris" and "Green Chic" vibes. They take the idea of sustainability to a literal level deriving their main source of inspiration from warmth and sunshine.

Each style shown has been selected from hundreds of designs and fabrications due to their distinct characteristics. They each display the craftsmanship, unique materials and design flexibility that make up this brand.

First shoe in the Jen + Kim Collection. Named the "1940's" and built in a gold leather and black suede combination with a gold metal heel.
The "1940's" is updated with nude nubuk and merlot leather pleating.
The "Coco" customized for a destination bride who got hitched in Aruba. Double layer ivory matte satin is layered with nude lamb to match the brides ceremony dress.
The "Coco" in silver and black abstract printed silk mixed with black leather. Silver metal heel photographed in the California desert.
The "Monaco" built in white snake with a grey lizard wrap and exposed silver metal heel.
The "Beverly" asymmetrical heel shown in cognac leather and nude snake. Custom last made for one size only.
The "Lattice" built on a tobacco stained hand carved wood wedge with ombre embossed leather in a snake print crisscrossed upper.
The "Ninja" wedge uses authentic crocodile up the counter as well as to crisscross the vamp creating an intense version of an earlier style, the "Lattice."
The "Cece" done in hand painted snake for a custom client. Worn on the red carpet for the premier of X-Men's Wolverine.
The "Lark" built in a South African waxed cotton sourced from a Los Angeles importer who found the material while traveling. Trimmed in a tumbled cognac leather and wrapped in soft winter white leather to pop the unique fabrications.
Custom wedding shoes designed for a San Diego bride. Navy satin cut from bridesmaids dresses for a custom fit, wide ankle strap mixed with ivory animal print leather.
The original "Cece" style built in a combination of gold embossed snake and black suede.
The original "Tux" built in a luxurious combination of black satin and suede with a hand placed satin bow at the vamp.
The "Melrose" handpainted and custom fit for a Miami artist.
The "Madrid" with a black snake printed leather ankle and instep cuff. Pleated silk vamp trimmed out to match cuff.
The "Maui" in charcoal snake features a teardrop T-strap design. Inspired by the petals of a flower, the tear drop is surrounded by open petals on either side.
