I built a "memory box" filled with cards/letters/notes collected from loved ones over the years. I folded envelopes to make the origami crane, a vivid memory I have from childhood.
The string represents 2 things:
1. How memories link together
2. How new memories makes it harder to clearly remember past events. However, certain memories (like the crane) remain vivid no matter how much time has passed.
